PC will not stay on.... HELP

Hi All, I have an issue that when i turn on my PC it does not make it to the OS before it turns itself off and reboots.... i have even tryed to start in Safe Mode...same thing happens....this will go on until i cut the power to the PC... all connections seem to be fine. .... Please help out...

Please post ur PC specs and enter them in ur profile so anyone can see them while ur offline and provide accurate solutions. Include the wattage and make of ur PSU and also tell us if u've changed anything in the PC recently.

HAve any of you had this issue or know about it...if you know what they did to fix it... that would be great... i dont have my specs here with my but i know its P4 - OS is XP 2.4g... Compaq PRESARIO 6000

How old is it? Maybe u could take it back to Compaq and ask them to help u out. Seems like a PSU problem to me but I can't really help until I know the wattage of urs and what peripherals u have in ur PC.
Also search on this page and tell me exactly which Presario 6000 do u have.
