Pennsylvania wants to tax violent video games

Too bad we can't tax parents for crappy parenting. That is the leading cause of violent behavior in our youth.
That really wouldn't be fair. When there is oversight preventing parents from being just that. Some kids need the **** beat out of them. But for decades now Child Services has prevented that kind of behavior from parents. The term "fighting fire with fire" comes to mind. As long as kids are sheltered from their behavior without repercussion, there will always be too much violence. Parents are not being held responsible. And as long as their hands are being tied behind their back they can not be held responsible. Parents fear loosing their kids from the slightest little bit of scolding. And kids are taking huge advantages from it in their favor. While I do agree that parenting is a major part of the problem. It is not all their fault when they are being led with few options that kids willfully absorb.

Failed parenting, clueless, and corrupt politicians blaming (as usual) somebody else for their incompetence and failures.

This is what happens when the nanny state tells parents they are not allowed to discipline their kids.
Kids learn that actions have no real consequences.

Then they try and put the blame on whatever scapegoat comes by instead of the root causes.

Bad laws about parenting and bad parenting.
Incredibly pathetic gun control and gun laws.
Poverty and the unwillingness to deal with it.

Total bullshit by lawmakers, the only reason they want to tax that is because the most selling games are the ones containing violence.
it's all about the $$ baby.
