Okay, so everytime I try to boot my computer, I keep getting this error message : "Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key"
Okay, I know everybody has problems with this, but these are my specs :
1.)ECS GF8200A black edition mainboard
2.)4 GB DDR2 800 MHz Ram
3.)500 Watt Power Supply
4.)DVD/RW (Burner drive)
5.)160 GB HDD Serial Ata 2
6.)AMD64 x2 6000+ Processor
I tried all kinda boot Orders! If it can be the Service Pack 1 XP CD I'm putting in, should I replace it with something else?
I had this computer for 3 weeks trying to repair it, and I honestly do NOT know what to do.
PLEASE HELP ME. :'(
I can't access anything! No FIXBOOT, or none of that stuff.

Reboot and select proper boot device
Means it cannot see the internal HardDrive boot sector, or the HardDrive itself

Check the HardDrive physical connections, Power and Data cables

It's a Serial Ata 2 so there's only that little yellow cord that connects to it, and the power supply. :S
They slide right in, and I tried firmly putting them in...

Actually to confirm the HardDrive is actually getting seen by the computer, you could go to CMOS (Bios setup) and check if it's listed in there.
To get to CMOS either press DEL or some other key stated on system startup.

You could also plug the yellow Sata cable into another port on the Motherboard

If the computer actually sees the HardDrive (which is good) then you just need to confirm the boot sector by running a Repair of Windows on it.
