Plugging in USB device stops power to other USB devices

Hi all
I was hoping for some insight.
I have a Gigabyte Z370XP SLi, brand new, under warranty.
I'm running a core i3 8100 and a 1070 with 16gigs of TridentZ 3000 RAM.
Windows 10 Pro, up to date.
All drivers are up to date.

I've noticed that if I plug in a USB device into the back section with all the connectors are, sometimes, all other USB devices stop working and it's like the power is lost.

It doesn't happen all the time and I think it's either a power issue or a driver issue.
Thank you in advance

Regards
JJ

Nothing to worry about directly it really depends on what is currently hooked up your mobo's usb ports front in back.
The top first 2 usb ports, plug a smaller flash drive or wifi nic there.
The next slot will hold a xbox usb controller or whatever joystick, beside it you will plug in a printer.

If you try plugging in a camera, extermal hdd or what not that takes some power to bootup.
Set it to the bottom of the usb ports, or unplug one of the middle usb devices so it doesn't knock out everything else.
If your has usb panels on the front, keep your phone and what not there.
Make sure the drivers it has isn't corrupt or it will cause a irq conflict with other devices sending it to crash until you reboot.
