Is there a way to revert ps2 games into blank dvds?
The pirated dvd game is starting to be read less. Sometimes the game loads and sometimes they don't.
After searching, there seems to be only 1 torrent of the same game that's available with lots of peers and seeds and it turns out to be PAL.
At first, I burned the PAL dvd unpatched. There goes 1 blank dvd.
After later finding out that it requires patching to NTSC, I tried 2 old patchers.

Neither work. There goes 2 more blank dvds.
Apparently there's a newer patcher and it requires registering into a site to obtain it.
Before I attempt a third patching attempt. Am I really left with 2 ps2 games that scroll up and down in b & w and 1 game that's only showing a blank screen after the ps2 sign or is there a way to salvage the dvds?
Also, is there a way to somehow verify if the patching works before burning the iso?
