RealPlayer

When my PC connects to RealPlayer to play a video, sometimes the picture is fine but most of the time the picture is psychedelic.

I have downloaded 'Real' help but I can't see anything about my problem.

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

"A" video? Maybe it is an issue with a specific codec? Some XviD movies need a special filter to play properly for example.

Thanks for the info.

What I've done is uninstall RealPlayer and install Windows Media Player V10 & everything works fine.

My problem is I'm not very good with tech stuff. That's why sites like these are invaluable.

A tech guy installed all the software on my old desktop & when I bought my brand new notebook, Windows xp was preinstalled.

I've only just found some of the other programs & downloaded the appropriate updates. (I'm surprised I've had to do this as I'm always getting messages to say updates are ready to install).

Never mind - problem solved.
