Recover data from SD card

I have a mini SD card. When I put it in the computer it says "incorrect function". It doesn't appear in disk management but shows up in (my) Computer. Also it shows up in safely remove hardware. It reports to have a capacity of 0 bytes.

Anyway I can get the data off it?

That's a damaged partition table; you *may* be able to get GPARTED to fix it

BTW; DO NOT REFORMAT (should be obvious), but see if you can RESIZE the partition just a tad

Actually Gparted live can't even see it. I had been using a USB to SD adapter and I think when that's plugged in, Windows always sees that as a device in itself (regardless if what's attached is working).

I would believe that -- adapters frequently cause issues :sigh:
