Solved Redirect on Google searches

A lot of excess files got removed, you updated, a few entries were removed, you did some maintenance and you rebooted! Sometimes that's all it takes.

Let's give it another day or 2 to make sure the redirect is gone. Let me know Sun. or Mon. if you still haven't been redirected and I'll have you remove the cleaning tools we used. Okay?

Hi Bobbye,

It worked good. No redirects at all. I did have a slight problem today where when I used my back-button it would not take me back to the previous internet site. So I cleaned out the temp files using both IE and Windows system tools disc cleanup. Then rebooted and it worked properly again. So, looks like I'm good to go thanks to you.

There is an arrow point to the right of the Back/Forward buttons. If you click on the arrow point, you will get a drop-down menu of the pages in the history- this will include not only the precious page, but any other pages (sites) up to the max number which is a set value..

One thing to note: if you are using a browser with tabs, it will only display and go back to the pages that have been loaded in that tab. For instance: if you opened a page in a new tab, you can only go back to those pages that were loaded in that tab.

Do you understand what I mean? It's like you can't get M&Ms out of the jar that holds Milky Ways!:D
