    Of course, if the technology is getting older or some of the patients are getting closer to the end of their life, they may simply be trying to dump them and get something in the way of $$ for them. More than likely the technology is starting to outpace them and isn't long for their usefulness ....

    If Google has been in litigation with the consortium up until now, why would RPX think something different would happen? Why would Google all of a sudden admit infringement by paying RPX for licensing those patents?
    Not sure RPX thought this out all the way. lol
