SATA drives not working

I just installed win 7 64 over vista 32 on my computer. Everything seemed to be fine and I installed a few programs on it after windows had finished installing. I shut it down and came back an hour later and it doesn't start up - it will not detect my 2 HD's, and 1 of my DVD drives. It only detects 1 DVD drive that is hooked up with an IDE cable. I have checked all my connections and the drives are getting power, I can feel them spinning.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Do they show in BIOS or does nothing at all happen when you power up the unit?

If you are getting no screen view is your monitor operating ok?

Are you using a RAID card to interconnect all your hardware?
