Sleep mode question

Whenever I try to wake up from sleep mode by pressing buttons on the keyboard, it wont let, i have to press the power button to wake it. Is there a reason why my keyboard isnt wakeing up the computer?

should not be a problem. use your power management control panel:

turn OFF sleep mode then turn it back on and save the setting.​

I've seen systems where sleep/hybernate were shown active yet did not
perform correctly UNTIL the above was done -- go figure.

There should be an option in the BIOS that will allow you to enable your keyboard and/or mouse to bring your PC out of sleep mode.
