So I only have agp 8x and want a video card

hello i am pretty new to this site and i am looking at different video cards if i get one it needs to be at least a 512mb card ,agp,and at least dx 10 which one should i get

no i am running xp sp3 but what does that have to do with DirectX 10?
i am using a dell 19' E198FP screen and yes i was hoping you could help me find the best one or just point out the bad ones.

DX10 is only available with Vista. DX9c is as far as XP goes. DX-10 cards are backwards compatible with DX9, so no harm, no foul.

That's why Tmagic mentioned DX-10, methinks you started it.

Yes you can use a DX10 card with XP but it will only run at DX9c rates
