Thanks. I don't get a black screen and the BIOS is apparently NOT updated, so I guess it's not the same problem as you had.

Thanks again!

You are saying I need to downgrade my BIOS?
I tried to follow your link and when I click on "I agree" the window tries to close itself and a new window is opened but it not displaying anything.

I'm not sure how to proceed.

can anyone help. i have downgraded the bios to 63af02us, the usb works and the sound doesnt, and when i upgrade back to 63af08US, the sound works, but the usb doesn't. also when the computer is off the usb is still powered.

Hi All

I'm using a Lenovo 3000 N100 0768A75 laptop.

I'm having problem with my keyboard/USB.
When I press any key on the keyboard, that instant all USB devices are disconnected. And soon after I unpress it, the system detects all USB devices like they were just plugged in. I say all USB devices, cause it doesn't matter USB mouse or USB drive, they all get disconnected.

As mentioned by zimo I tried installing the latest BIOS as well but that is not helping. May be I am not completing all the required steps.
It'll be great if anyone can help me on updating my BIOS to the latest version by telling me all the required steps to be done.

Thanks in advance.

Regards
Shweta
