The problem here is context.

The fact that many thousands of doctors disagree with how the pandemic has been handled has nothing to do with the blatantly, factually false information Dr. Malone has released on his social media. This man is very intelligent, very accomplished, and has done great things throughout his career.

One must separate topics of conversation into separate buckets. Where Dr. Malone did screw up, is posting false information to his many hundreds of thousands of followers that will use this doctor's vitae to push said false information to others.

2 examples of posts Dr. Malone shared, stating vaccine-caused harm/death:

https://www.cbc.ca/news/health/covid-19-vaccine-study-error-anti-vaxxers-1.6188806

https://www.wane.com/community/heal...s-used-to-link-athlete-deaths-to-covid-shots/ (this kid actually died in 2013, but used as an example for vaccine caused death)

Whether tin foil is your look or not, this man screwed up and his credentials are solid enough to convince gullible individuals and/or conspiracy theorists that this patently false information is instead true. It causes incredible public harm in the midst of a global pandemic.

If these companies want to enforce "COVID misinformation" policies for this guy, have at it. He was an ***** for being such the intelligent man he is, not fact checking his own content before sharing.

Of course covid has been mishandled, everyone on earth can agree with that. Don't use that to try and defend morons who spread links to articles claiming things that have ALREADY been retracted/debunked.
Regarding the Ottawa Heart Institute study, can you share the post Dr Malone made referencing their study? According to your link, Ottawa made a math error, so it was not an action based on malice or deception from Ottawa. I suspect others would also like to see how Dr Malone used this precisely in his post. For example, did he later correct the record after Ottawa announced their error? Can we agree that Dr Malone is not responsible for the Ottawa Heart Institute making an error in their study?

To all the incumbent antivaxxers of Techspot: the next time you need medical attention, please, by all means, feel free to go to church, trust your immune system, or talk about it in an FB group of your liking, instead of calling your hospital. Thanks.

So unless you are vaccinated you should not be allowed to get any medical assistance for even non COVID related issues?

Reminds me of the phrase, "Only the Sith deal in absolutes".

So are you gonna say that to obesity, drug addicts, or criminals as well? Also, if you think vaccine will give you immune, you may need to wake up as well. You won't be immune to the virus even you are vaccinated, and you can also transmit the virus to someone else.

If a person has previously gotten flu shots, covid shots, tetanus, vaccines: small pox, MMR, Polio, Typhus. But this person chooses not get a covid booster due to continuing side effects from the initial covid shots, would you consider this person an antivaxxer?

This is already happening.

It's not about 'saving lives' because the mandaters are clearly okay with people dying if they refuse.

And there is clear data indicating a big problem with these vaccines. Check this out for yourself, and do some logical thinking:

Look what recently came out, and before you dismiss it, check the sources at the bottom...;

We even have the media telling us that something like myocarditis is "mild and rare". There is no bigger misinformation than that. Even "mild" myocarditis can easily kill you.
There is a clear double standard here. Politics has overtaken medicine, and that is extremely dangerous.

You are assuming the links you posted in regards to myocarditis are accurate. Why trust them over Reuters, for example?
https://www.reuters.com/article/fac...e-rollout-does-not-confirm-link-idUSL1N2SA1EN

Even if those numbers are correct, 251 million doses of Covid vaccine have been administered. That makes myocarditis rare.
As far as Openvaers, why trust them to interpret the data when we already have Vaers?
Why not trust what this site says about Openvaers?: https://www.logically.ai/articles/california-woman-anti-vax-site-openvaers

Is TechSpot catering to the right in the comments here? I'm seeing the exact same kinds of comments that TechSpot removed of mine here from Conservatives and they are staying up and not deleted? Do I need to get my tech news elsewhere?

I think Techspot just loves posting stories like this waiting for the inevitable arguments between "vaxxers" and "anti-vaxxers"...

By the way, the urge to have everyone vaccinated should NOT call upon a human-rights debate... pandemics supersede personal rights...

Your "personal freedoms" only apply when they only affect YOU.

Pandemics don't work that way!! Your refusal to vaccinate, wear a mask, etc endangers everyone around you!

For every hospital bed taken up with someone who catches Covid, that's a hospital bed that can't be used to treat someone with pneumonia, or TB, or... get it??

People get all up in a huff citing some jerk's blog as a source... science is a wonderful thing - it consists of peer-reviewed articles, constantly evolves, and is OPEN SOURCE. Just because the average joe doesn't understand how vaccines work doesn't mean that they must be a conspiracy to enslave you.

You probably don't understand the inner workings of your car, microwave or cell phone - but that doesn't stop you from using them!

So, would that be the same for obesity and drug addict? They do affect others around them as well. You should deny them for hospital as well right?

If they were contagious... or there was a vaccine for them.... sure :)

Maybe next time read my ENTIRE post before you decide to be a smarty pants?

Freedom of choice is scary isn't it. How many so called "conservatives" want to cancel your opinion or posts? This article isn't about vax vs. non-vax, its about some liberal is mad he can't cancel someone with different views. If you only want like minded opinions then I guess this isn't the place for you. The majority of Americans are vaccinated yet here we are again. The truth is as elastic as stretch armstrong and as pliable as silly putty to left leaning people.

First of all, no such person exists in your made up scenario. Secondly, yes some people will get negative side effects or allergic reactions to this or any other vaccine.

And a lot of people under 60 are saying Neil who? LOL
Right, and who the hell is Joe Rogan? Apparently in America you can get far more famous by being a degenerate blowhard with a radio show spreading misinformation than someone who's been making music for like 60 years.

PS. - I had to Google who Joe ***** was. Apparently he used to host Fear Factor or some crap.

Yes you can mandate them to go on diet, or mandate them not to use drug anymore.

Also, the vaccinated ones are contagious as well. So?
Really? Please stay on task here... Vaccines are quite effective at stopping transmission of all variants except Omicron - and as soon as a vaccine tailored to Omicron is released, it will almost certainly reduce transmission of that too... Yet another wonderful advantage of SCIENCE - it tends to improve over time :)

One CAN mandate vaccines - there is even precedent! Polio, Smallpox, Tetanus, Measles, etc were all mandated - and very few raise a fuss... but Covid hits, and people say their rights are being taken away...

One CANNOT mandate diets... and the "war on drugs" has been an abject failure...

Neil Young has millions of dollars of revenue still coming in… and is worth more than the combined members of this site will ever earn… I highly doubt that he “looks the clown”.

He made a stand on principal - it’s his label that will suffer - but note how Spotify HAS removed many of the Covid-related podcasts…

I wouldn’t be surprise to see Young state, after a few weeks or months (the public forgets stuff REALLY fast) that he is satisfied that Spotify has acted to curtail misinformation and will now rejoin Spotify…

By the way, to the ignoramuses out there who think Dr Malone actually invented mRNA vaccines… he didn’t… the only “proof” of this invention is his wife’s website… no one who is taken seriously in the scientific community believes his nonsense, and all of his “information” on Covid has been thoroughly debunked.
How much money he makes is irrelevant in this situation, why would you bring that up? If he wanted to make a stand on principle, he could've just pulled out of Spotify himself but he thought he was gonna be picked over Rogan. Guess things didn't go his way.

I disapprove of what Neil Young sings, but I will defend to the death his right not to sing it. (With apologies to Voltaire, er, sort of).

Gee, there's a lot a mind reading, and speculation going on here. Unfortunately, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

First of all, how can you make "a stand on principles", if you don't announce publicly what your principles are?

It’s VERY relevant… and if he pulled out of Spotify without giving a reason - how is that a principle?

If he was a struggling “nobody” artist - we wouldn’t be reading this article, as it wouldn’t exist because nobody would care! Like it or not, when someone rich and famous does something, it has far more impact than when an average joe does it.

Yes, I meant to pull out of Spotify but give the reason why. Makes it seem decisive and principled. What he did makes him seem like a crybaby.

This mind-reading and speculation how you call it come from understanding people.
