This has happened 3x while I was browsing on Google Chrome, The [LEFT][FONT=inherit]computer[/FONT][/LEFT] just shut down and I have received an error message similar to this one: I use xp pro, a Dimension4550 desktop version 5.1.2600 yr2002, service pack 2,

STOP 0x000000BE(0xC0000005, 0xBF9535DF, 0xEE7DBC00, 0x00000000)

win32k.sys - Address BF9535DF base at BF800000 Datestamp 4bdd1407

Suggestions appreciated.

ps whats the easiest way to get service pack 3. From reading about it I don't think I can do it myself without messing things up?

Open up the computer and clean out any dust and make sure the fans are running normally... Go here:

download and install XP Service Pack 3 once you get the computer stable
