Strange right-click action on start menu with Move/Copy/Open

Whenever I right-click and choose 'open' or 'explore' folders in the start menu, I get a "Move Items" dialog box. I click "Cancel" and then I get a "Copy Items" dialog box. I click "Cancel" and then the folder finally opens.

Does anyone know what could have caused this and how to disable it?

It sounds like a program, or person, has changed some settings in the registry that should have been left alone.

You can fix this by manually working on the registry, but i wouldn't recommend that.. try downloading a program like: "context menu editor" and seeing if you can get rid of the erroreous dialogs.
