    Can't wait for that one to drop after the new year .... but I wonder how many games will be able to support that wide a view without significant distortion?

    Most monitor prices will collapse after the new year, with a better discount, because by end of the 1st quarter next year there will be new video cards from both nVidia and AMD, featuring DisplayPort 1.3, with plethora of new monitors, supporting the new standard.
