Tesla said to be working a deal to build $9 billion factory in China

I have no problem with Chinese people/ancestry or Chinese culture.
Do have big problem with Chinese government. Communist dictatorship. Mao killed more people than Stalin, right there that is some achievement.
I know right? They both killed more people than Hitler, yet that poor guy is the one who always gets vilified....

So many of my friends and co-workers are going to be so mad when they find out the Tesla that they are going to get will be "made in china." I wonder if that $1000 deposit is refundable.
Really? I've been saying this guy Musk is a piece of s*** carpetbagger from day one. But nooooooo-body agreed.:p

It's a relief that all of this new technology such as electric cars renewable energy reusable spacecraft and so long will be available to every single country list of ever reaches the United States. all the new Infinity high-tech equipment is always produced half a world away while we sit here and waited several trillion dollars on fighter jets that don't even work right. if Tesla and these companies have what it takes all of our technology better, China will always be two steps ahead of us.

That's really all well and good but, I think having 3 billion people willing to work for next to nothing plays a much bigger part in the grand economic scheme of things. In fact, should it choose to, the Chinese government could piss its overwhelming incoming trade surplus away on fighter jets which "don't work right", and no one would be any the wiser.

I'm all for "wasting" money perfecting military equipment, as opposed to writing an infinite supply of welfare checks and other "social entitlements". Social entitlements basically support an endless supply of newborn welfare recipients, along with providing their "baby daddies", with food stamps and free room and board. Although I do agree, we need to keep their strength up, so they can peddle crack and smack all hours of the day and night.
