Tesla Cybertruck sales collapse, company accepts trade-ins with extreme depreciation

"Musk's political activities have soured public opinion on the company and contributed to declining global sales. " that's a fairy tale.

IT has to do with other manufacturers having better deals, PERIOD

It's not that hilarious really - these people that you ridiculously refer to as 'leftists' are actually just normal people buying a car they thought might damage the planet a little less - seems pretty reasonable to me. Turns out the guy building them is using the wealth these cars give him to fund and advance some really unpleasant policies. How were they to know this? End of story.
Leftist and "normal" is an oxymoron. They don't follow logic--They hate cars because of the owners political leanings. They even justify destroying normals private property or even murdering them because of their beliefs. They don't follow religion because its inconvenient to their degenerate lifestyle. They are the most hideous form of "life" to exist on earth in 5 billion years

On petrol cars you usually see a loss of ~30% in the first year and ~50% after 3 years. Why should EV be superior?

Further ... I drove a Model Y. Package is cool, but the rest of the car not. The german EVs bring much more on the table and even have modular batteries. Knock knock. Wake up Tesla.
Where I am ecars lose 90% of their value within two years. I know people who bought a wonderful new ecar for 30 thousand USD and can't sell them for 2.5 two years later as nobody trusts them and yet people still buy these overpriced, glorified toys.

If you are just going to make things up you should at least use numbers that make any sense. $30k ecars when brand new. Uh huh.

That will not have my shareholder vote!
Admire the fact that he actually tried to help the country with fiscal responsibility, but it was always going to be at a price and a longer term "no change". Politicians do not change & people love the vote for their entitlement distributed via the violence of the state.

OH NO! It's like someone took a chainsaw to Tesla sales! Not quite so bold when karma comes knocking and won't leave the front step.

Board has an obligation to shareholders to remove him.

If I were POTUS, I'd remove the 100% EV tariffs that protect Tesla from having to compete with Chinese competitors like BYD in the US.

I've just come back from the USA and have seen a couple, I'm not impressed. They are a meme not a serous truck, to me, they look silly.

I am not sure what rock you have been living under but the CyberTruck is sold outside of the USA. There are several where I live in Canada alone. The UK just banned them a month or so ago but up to that point they had been sold there.
The cybertruck has never been sold in the UK, as it is now (a deathtrap for pedestrians) it never will be.

In the last year, I only saw increase I nthe amount of these on the road.
Also, I have never seen so many Teslas as this last year.
Do I trust my eyes or articles on the internet who might be a bit biased
toward Musk?

As for C-Truck, the shape seems like the worst waste of space. It looks very cool, and I always
give respect to designers who come up with surprising and new looks. But there could be so much of usable place at the back of this truck. Basically sloped roof ate all the space this truck could have.
It is really a toy. And change its shape a bit, it could be a useful SUV.

-Musk getting into politics (in the worst way possible) forced people to actually look at other EV makers, who capitalized on the opportunity.

An earthworm could have told you what a unmitigated POS the Cyberturd was going to be. It was a design literally taking the p!ss and the sheeple that actually believed Musk is something more than a fraud, was actually selling a visionary product.

1 million pre-orders they claim, yet only 47000 sales and basically all recalled.
