The PC master race is 'decimating' Switch players in Jedi Academy crossplay

This happened many years ago, can't remember clearly now, some FPS Online shooter, but they put 10 professional console gamers against 10 professional PC gamers, and the console gamers got destroyed.
I don't care how good you get with a gamepad, your not going to match the quickness and precision of todays gaming mice.

Exactly, (it's analog vs digital input/sequential vs parallel).

That is what is going on with Warzone right now... Activision has auto-aim turned up so that the console players can play with PC players. Once on target it tracks the player.

The latest Call of Duty is an example of this, It's not even to do with consoles, just using a basic controller and the game gives pretty insane auto-aim in multiplayer.

Just for a laugh I plugged in my Xbox controller to my PC after getting wrecked one game by someone on a PS4, I admit, I'm not great at the game but to lose to a controller wielding console player is pretty rare even for me, except this latest CoD. Turns out the game basically moves your cross-hairs to their head just by looking in their relative direction.

What properly blew me away though was the aiming when camping. Hide somewhere and as an enemy walks past, it basically auto-locks and follows.

Luckily the game has an option to not match make with Cross Play players.

This^

I didn't even read through this thread, when I posted above. I was noticing the same thing, while spectating. Then I logged on my xbox account and played a new char and its auto-aim was ridiculous.

The difference in skill is not only about the input device, but rather how much and what kind of players the platform attracts. Have people here played any online game on a phone? The controls are hard to get used to, but even if you are a complete newbie with them, but adequate in games in general, you will decimate players like no problem since the mobile audience seemingly has lots of very young players. I think the same applies to consoles and generally PC has slightly more adult base. So before you think you can beat anyone who plays with a gamepad against your mouse and keyboard, think again since some players are wildly successful even with that inferior way of aiming.

Switch is a kind of platform that attracts kids and their parents. You have to be a complete scrub to enjoy dominating them via PC. If I was a kid facing such situation, I would yell my old time hardcore gaming father to come down and show the cheaters some K/D ratios.

Weak console players can't handle the competition from superior hardware! Weak Sauce! LOL
