Thoughts on my gaming laptop?

Hey guys I have put a together gaming laptop and I would really like you guys to share your ideas/thoughts on it. If you have some tips please post them :)

Specs:

Nvidia gt540m 2gb

Intel Core i7 - 2670QM Quad Core (2.2GHz - 3.1Ghz) 6MB cache

8GB DDR3-1333 ( 2 x 4GB )

500 GB 7200rpm S-ATA 16Mb cache

15.6" WXGA (1366 x 768)

The laptop is from http://www.xnotebooks.nl

The main goal of this laptop is playing new releases like bf3, Skyrim, Crysis 2
I have found some videos of people frapsing (recording) gameplay footage of Crysis 2 and bf3 with the gt540m so it should work fine

Youtube video's:

xD gaan we lauw doen. Well, I would get faster RAM (1600MHz for example) if you want, and if your budget permits it.

I have thought about that but than the price would go up from 800 to 900 and the performance difference isn't worth the price change

Well, it looks you've done your research. :)

The specs. will do just fine for the games you intend to play. You might just have to tone down your in-game settings a little.

Folks recommend (best experience) the GTX550Ti for games like Skyrim, so you should get an idea of what works best.

Well I cant get a GTX550Ti for my laptop, it only uses mobile cards and the gt540m 2gb is able to run bf3 on high at a decent 40-60 fps so im not worried about Skyrim :)

Yeah, I meant the mobile variant / equivalent of the GTX550Ti or something similar from ATI.

Do take a look at the following list:

Or settle with the FPS you expect to get.

Cheers,

At what resolution will you be playing? If you will be playing at anything under 1920x1200, dont bother with the 2GB version of the video card. You wont use nor need it in the future. Also told ya about 480>540 :)

As I told you numerous times, The build only comes with a GT540m 2gb. The video card is fine so I'll stick with it. The gt540m also has great overclocking, so dont worry mr.nubkilla :)

I'll be playing the games at a resolution of 1368x768
