totally remove symantec corp

im looking for a thread that was a sticky quite a while ago, it was for the complete uninstaller for all norton/symantec products. ive searched but guess its been removed for space. any one know what the link was in it?

thanx, im replacin it with mcafee, if it dont be a resource hog when i reboot that is. symantec seems to use crap loads of ram for RTVscan.exe when i reboot.

Norton is muck and mcafee isnt much better

Have a look in the sticky threads in this forum, there are plenty of free programs listed.
I personally use separate virus scanner and antispyware tools because it's far easier to use one to fix another if it gets attacked where as an all in one program generally cant cope.
