Trojan/Desktop Hijacker

Well, I'm back and once again infected. I let AVG run out and hadn't renewed it, and within a few days of expiration, I got a virus. (I have AVG 8 running now, but didn't at the time of infection). Well I knew something was up when I noticed that about 50% of my desktop shortcuts had been removed and there were icons for fake-antivirus programs which I left well alone. I ran through the steps in this post, and it got rid of the icons, and from what I can tell, it got rid of quite a few infected files. Anyway, my logs are attached and any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Get rid of AVG 8. Use Avir Antivir, and you will find a remarkable improvement. The rest of your choices are excellent.
