Trouble updating bios - mobo won't recognize flashdrive

My computer is using a Gigabyte GA-AX370-GAMING 5 (rev1.0) AM4 motherboard with a first gen Ryzen 7 1700 CPU. I'm trying to get the machine updated for 3rd Gen Ryzen compatibility. The board is currently running bios version F10. At the moment, I'm trying to update to version F20 (doing these bios updates in steps), but the motherboard is not recognizing the flashdrive I put the file onto. The flashdrive is a Samsung 64gb BAR usb 3.0. I've formatted it to exFAT as my computer (Win10) doesn't seem to have the option for FAT32. I put the flashdrive into a usb port on the mobo, restart the computer, and upon getting to the q-flash screen I do not see the drive in the dropdown menu or the bios file to select.

Not sure where I've gone wrong in this process.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Cheers!

The USB drive has to be FAT32, nothing else is recognised by the BIOS. I think Windows has a partition limit of 32GiB with FAT32, so you'll either need to partition the USB drive or just buy a cheap-as-chips 2GiB or similar.
