TL;DR: in 2008 Visa tried to cozy up to the Pelosis and invited them to a lucrative IPO of $44. Within a few DAYS the shares the 5,000 shares they bought were worth an EXTRA $100k. Pelosi's portfolio is consistently up at around 50-60% YoY (I think one year was over 90% recently). That's 5x better than the avg S&P500. Every hedge fund manager in the world will tell you that consistent 60% returns are impossible, that getting lucky and have 30-35% for a year or two is about as good as it gets.
