Trump's millions of @POTUS followers won't pass to Biden when he takes over account

I'm not in this "for / against" "trump / biden" nonsense, playing politics is a game no one ever wins it at - its a rigged game, to make people attack each other, lest they might look up and see what the real problems are - its greedy people. Period. And they're everywhere - controlling the church, the republicans, the democrats, controlling the media, the corporations, China and Russia -- all of it.

That said, I did want to respond to this post below, just to say that no one has to be "against you" for you to suffer greatly as a result of their poor decisions - regardless of if that decision was a result of sheer greed, corruption, ill-intent, or even if it is from misdirected best of intentions.

So the MSM is against you. The Democrats are against you. Print news is against you. So-called RINOs are against you. Federal law enforcement is against you. Election workers are against you. Election officials of both parties are against you. Google is against you. The medical community is against you. Twitter is against you.
...

Ah, so I should trust the single most anti-Trump paper in existence
Then try the New York Times:

And BTW being "anti-Trump" doesn't equate to being dishonest. Being Trump equates to being dishonest.

In brief: Back in 2017, the @POTUS account along with its millions of followers passed from Barrack Obama to Donald Trump, but Joe Biden won't get the same treatment. Twitter has confirmed that the incoming president will not inherit the 33.2 million people following the account when he takes control.

Twitter says it will notify followers of White House accounts "to provide context that the content will be archived and allow them the choice to follow the Biden administration's new accounts." In addition to @POTUS, these include @WhiteHouse, which has 26 million followers, @VP (10.3 million), @FLOTUS (16.4 million), @PressSec (6.3 million), @Cabinet (183.9K), and @LaCasaBlanca (169.8K).

Social Media, especially Twitter, has become an important platform for presidential announcements, and the threat of losing millions of followers hasn't gone down well with Biden's team. Rob Flaherty, the presidential campaign's digital director, tweeted that "as of right now the Biden administration will have to start from zero."

Flaherty told Bloomberg that the Biden team had pushed back on Twitter's plans but "were told this was unequivocal." The company said that it "has been in ongoing discussions with the Biden transition team on a number of aspects related to White House account transfers."

Followers of the current White House accounts will be informed that these are being archived with "45" added to the usernames. People will also also be given the option to follow the updated accounts.

The 21.7 million followers of Joe Biden's @JoeBiden account will be encouraged to follow the new @POTUS with a one-time front-page notification.

No! Really? You mean after four long years of snarling, backbiting, insults, threats, riots, and the leftist resistance movement obstructing Trump at every opportunity...the deplorables will not be answering the Biden call for unity, foregiveness, and support? What sore losers!

You know, Trump's entire 2016 campaign was centered on insulting every opponent, making up crude, pejorative, nicknames for them, and requesting that they should be "locked up".

One thing even someone who is severely mentally challenged, should be cognizant of the fact that if Trump's lips are moving, he's lying. Not only to the public, but to himself as well.

Consider the results of his 2016 victory. Hillary Clinton actually received more of the popular than he did. So, after 4 years of his revolving door cabinet selections, the rampant nepotism in the White House, and the criminal prosecution of most of his campaign staff, why should he even expect to be reelected?

As of now, Trump is playing golf, while in the process of sticking his petty tantrums up the collective a** of approximately 40 million Americans, by not signing the budget or the included covid relief package.

Before Trump even suggested the $2,000.00 relief check, he knew full well, his own party would never go for it. In fact, it's a shot at "his party", since the $2,000.00 number is the amount the Democrats have been asking for, from the beginning of negotiations. Mitch McConnell was virtually intractable from the 500 billion number he, (and the rest of the Republicans), suggested was their final offer.

Bottom line, little Donny Trumpy-wump, is pissed off because nobody in the country is willing to indulge his fantasies and delusions, by reversing the results of the election, and he's taking it out on everyone in the country.

Donnie boy is the worst piece of sh!t I've ever seen in the White House during the 70 years I've been around, and and as a whole.,an embarrassment to the country

He's unfit for the office, and should be removed on the grounds mental incompetence, as per the 25th amendment.

Actually, it was centered upon a large number of campaign promises, of which he kept by far the largest proportion of any candidate in the last 35 years. I didn't agree with all of those promises, but I do respect the fact he kept his word -- of Obama's seven major campaign promises, he kept none whatsoever.

Trump is... not signing the budget or the included covid relief package.
Most of that misappropriately-named package has nothing to do with Covid Relief at all. Less than $200 billion of the $900 billion total is going to the American people. Instead, it's bailouts for Chicago's union pension program, funding for the Kennedy center, money for a gender-studies program in Pakistan, a new "Gandhi-King" studies program in India, $700M for economic stimulus for Sudan, etc., etc., ad infinitum.

The President wants that money to go to the American people instead. Sounds like a good idea to me. That bill could easily fund a $2,000/person stimulus without costing a single penny more, simply by removing just some of the bailouts and pork in it.

if Trump's lips are moving, he's lying.
This from a person who posts a continual stream of lies, including three in one single post in this very thread?

Oh, and here I thought I was merely misinformed, not intentionally lying. Besides, if I didn't make any mistakes, that would deprive you of the opportunity to bloviate about my mistakes.

I think if you multiply the $600.00 stimulus chacks, the 10 weeks of extended unemployment, along with the small business bailouts (**), you should come up with more than your 200 billion figure.

Hell, there's 16 billion in the bill for vaccine procurement and distribution alone.

So, take off your shoes which should extend you ability to count, and make sure you're sensitive and sympathetic to other people's gender choice of bathroom.

(**) In truth though, much of that may possibly find it's way into the pockets of Trump's relatives and cronies.

BTW, I'm sure there's plenty of pork in that bill for every red state in the country..

Also, since you know all about, "pocket veto power". n There's also what's known as a "line item veto. So, if Trumpty dumpty doesn't want to have money made available for educating gay people to be gay correctly, or how to figure out if they're a man or a woman he could always grab a marker and scratch that off.

And I hope we both know that the senate wouldn't bother to call a veto override vote to put it back in.

Wrong yet again. Line Item veto power was rescinded by the Supreme Court almost as soon as it was passed.

You'll have to clear up which it is yourself. In any case, if you repeat a falsehood because you're misinformed, you're still "spreading lies", making my statement correct regardless.

What a laugh! Trump's specialty is advancing hatreds and fanning flames. He is the most divisive president in history. Which is why he was voted out. And nothing is beneath him as he attempts to retain power. One recent tweet (from our White House!) even incites violence on Jan 6. We can't be done with him soon enough.

Us deplorables (talk about insults!) want a return to sanity, and respect Biden's calls for unity. Mock that all you want.

8< - Trump didn't become president because he was power hungry. He became president to strip the power hungry of their corruption.

Same thing he told contestants in the beauty pageants in AC while inspecting for corruptions "STRIP YOUNG mama".
Mariah Billado a former Miss Vermont Teen USA said the 70-year-old trump, republican president candidate caused a Panic In The Dressing Room of the 1997 pageant when he barged in unannounced as the young women were changing clothes.
She said Trump shrugged it off: “Don’t worry, ladies, I’ve seen it all before”. Three other former teen beauty queens, who wished to remain anonymous, corroborated Billado’s account. They recalled the girls hurrying to cover themselves, one called
trump “shocking” and “creepy.”
He should have been impeached, and optionally, hanged.
How can a republican father support trump's actions and behavior to young women by their silence on this event?

Wrong yet again. Line Item veto power was rescinded by the Supreme Court almost as soon as it was passed.
So then, that means, (assuming it was in the bill to begin with), Trump couldn't line out aid to states because they were predominantly Democratic as he has threatened to do, now could he?

You'll have to clear up which it is yourself. In any case, if you repeat a falsehood because you're misinformed, you're still "spreading lies", making my statement correct regardless.
Perhaps, but in my case I'm just a humble supplicant pleading to a god for guidance, and asking to be lead out of his confusion.

So what harm could my errata possibly do? I would think you would be grateful for the opportunities I provide you, to display and gloat about how vast your knowledge on all topics really is.

That said, it's not as if I was some spray tanned, mouthy, power mad pathological liar, and a delusional jacka**, with 33 million Twitter followers, spreading blatant lies all night to extremist sociopaths.

So - you've constantly supported Trump's tweets of massive election fraud; and called those who deny it "pathological liars". Now we have a New York Times review saying exactly the same thing. (You dismissed the Washington Post report as "anti-Trump" and therefore dishonest). Misinformed or not, you're the one spreading lies.

I still await your own numbers on the cases of fraud alleged as such in court, and proven. Other than the dozen or two found by standard state post-election audits. The Trump team dragged the nation through ~60 such lawsuits - was that just political circus? Do you actually have any numbers?? Source please??

If the election wasn't stolen, it's shameful for you to support Trump's continual screaming that it was. This deals huge damage to faith in our system, and disgraces our nation in the eyes of the world.

Risible: For pardons you said "The courts first said Innocent. And that -- in a normal, non-political prosecution -- ends the matter." Well here the courts first said "No significant fraud" (about 60 times) - but you keep whining.

Most risible: you appear to believe that all the "mainstream media" is lying or corrupt; all the state election boards and poll workers are lying or corrupt; 60 or so courts and judges are lying or corrupt; and maybe the Supreme Court too; and they're all in cahoots - but you call me a conspiracy theorist ??

You're showing the strain of continual double-think. Take a year off.
