Personally, I think there's a good chance that the incoming party will not be taken seriously after people see what they are up to. The only problem is that by then, it may be too late for anyone to do anything about it.

Problem is its never OK, no matter who is under the thumb of the oligarchy.

The issue with social media is it democratizes lies. Back when America was great, we had like 2-3 major TV news networks and a handful of major newspapers, all run by the ultra wealthy, and they all disseminated the same lies. So at least America got to share in a (broadly) common lies/facts and then the disagreements really came from how to properly address the issues.

Today, there is no shared lie among the American people. Even the concept of what is truth and lie is not shared. The very fabric of human unity (collective belief) is under assault

Huge corporations are not anyone's friends, they are not anyone's ally, and never will be. Hopefully, the blatant shifting in pollitical and ideological allegiances from corporations during the last 15 years or so, would make everyone in both sides of the political spectrum realize that. And begin realizing that the oligarchs divide people in ideological and political conflict, to distract them and prevent them from engaging in a class war.

That's only wishful thinking, though. Most will probably quickly forget how many of these corporations were subtly (and in some cases, openly so) declaring that they despised and hated them.

If we can't change the Old men's club in business where Directorships, CEOs all look after each others remunerations , why do you think we have a chance to change this highly lucrative corruption that is USA politics

Hell look at your Lions or Rotary Club, I wonder how many local Mayors, councillors, top civil servants and Real Estate developers are in those doing "charity "

It's sad watching Americans think that the final solution is with either party.
The one who threatened to build the wall is not violating the Constitution if the wall had been built.
The one who wanted to open the floodgates and give them undocumented, illegal, non-citizened a vote would have been horribly violating the Constitution if he had his way.

Maybe, for the 2nd last time, stop whining about the lack of whatever in other parties and give them a leg up. Break the duopoly. At some level it starts to make more sense to break the duopoly just because, instead of voting on personality or specific policy. And get your collective act together and make serious strides in going back to One Nation Under God.
