Sweet. I already have a notebook, and a netbook, but several members in my family could certainly use a laptop. Would be incredibly helpful. Nyway, good luck to all!
 
I get more out of having my home page set to TECHSPOT.I can track all tech updates from software to hardware. I heard about a couple of W7 deals ,like house party and the deep drive. I am loving windows 7 because of TECHSPOT. I would love the new laptop I am starting a new business, and the hardware only works with XP. I also need to be more interactive with TECHSPOT, so this is a reat way of getting that started.Yes I want to join the contest.
 
I would like to join the contest as well. So glad that this is open to all Techspot users and not only those leaving in the US and Canada.

I'm not a huge fan of netbooks generally but this one intrigues me

Hmm, I'd take 1000$ any day, with or without a computer to go with it.

I'm really impressed by the battery life of this machine. I would not think the slightly slower CPU it has would add about 3 hours of battery life of the 904HA. For the 904HA I have actually gotten about 5.5 hours out of it, but that is still significantly less than the Acer. And please do not enter me, I'd like to give someone else a chance :)

I've never had much money so I've never been able to buy one.

having this little jewel in diamond black ... would be so great.
netbooks as its name implies are simple low power consuming machines allowing easy access to the net & most office features.

great for the business man & student

now with the Atom Z520 CPU, 1GB of DDR2 667 SDRAM, a 160GB hard drive, 11.6" WXGA (1366 x 768) TFT display it may also be a perfect media player companion, though i doubt its real performance on HD content, i'm quite sure would make anyone happy.

like already said, a nice piece of hardware, for nice people ;)

Mm.. This looks splendid ! It would be such a great replacement to my 5 year old desktop ! I would definitely like to join ! Its awesome to let people outside the US to participate, it is clearly awesome for me ! TechSpot looks nice and clean like always !
