I'm sure that's true, but I don't need Twitter to get whatever info I need when Google exists. I have little to no trust in the factuality of what I would see on Twitter because there's so much BS going on in there. I'd just rather avoid it altogether.

You did but I was also referring to ppl in general who read the forums.
To many people will read a forum and take to heart what someone has said instead of finding out for themselves.
My point was to counter your point in which there is nothing wrong with Twitter or Google as long as you do whatever is you need to do n leave.
If you decide to do other things while on the sites, that's on you and not those sites fault.
