Two outspoken feminists have left League of Legends developer Riot

Maddogmcgee and captaincranky, I think we've had enough personal comments. If you feel the need to carry on your personal conversations, you may do so via PM (Conversation).
But, but, but, I was on a roll..:poop:

Truth be told, there only were a couple of lines which were personal in that post.

The rest, albeit in my typical bad taste, was directed at the women's movement in general, not a specific member.

There's a positive correlation between looks and intelligence: https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/...00903/beautiful-people-are-more-intelligent-I

In other words, beauty is an indicator of intelligence. It isn't a cause.
lol... the POINT I was trying to make is that just because you think a woman is ugly, that's no excuse to say "she deserved to be fired"... whether or not you are attractive should be irrelevant in any hiring/firing process for game development...

A pretty woman gets fired and it's because she was too pretty. A ugly woman gets fired and it's because she wasn't pretty enough. Both think it's because they're female. Neither of which would entertain the thought that it might be because of their performance, or lack of thereof. Solipsism in action.

And what excuses do males make when they get fired? No one likes getting fired - regardless of sex, they’ll have an excuse for why it happened... I think we can do better than say that all women deserve the treatment they get...

Just curious, has anybody else have posts that magically disappear while not breaking any rules that I'm aware of? Seems to be some bias in here...

Tech websites are home turf for leftists, so don't be surprised when some comments go directly to the gulag. However, TS mods don't typically disappear comments without reason.

Well if they would restore it we could let the readers decide if it justified deleting. If it was out of line you would think they would contact you as to why....but whatever.

I'm saying they usually do give reason. At least, that's been the case whenever my stuff is removed.

Also another reason to utilize Archive.is whenever the discussion turns political.

Your point is factually incorrect. There is no statistic<...>
I don't expect understanding, here, but the validity of statistics depends on their source, and I go so far as to say that statistics, in general, are crap that can and will be bent in any direction at the whim of those presenting the statistics. Like it or not, there is no way to verify the statistics previously presented. Even if the surveys were scientifically conducted, there is still no means to determine that all variables have been accounted for and are accurate.

Statistics are more like quantum mechanics than anything else - and as a matter of fact, quantum mechanics is statistical in nature. You will never know what way that electron will spin until you observe it - which is after it has taken on its spin. You will never know, even from the same atom, the exact wavelength of the photon, even if it has been excited with exactly the same amount of energy every time, until you observe it. Statistics are similar in nature.

It does sound like there is sexism in the company; however, IMO, they simply should have left the event open to all and, if anyone applied for any open positions, evaluated the applicants based on their individual merits. No two candidates are the same. Personally, I would not want to hire someone based on anything other than their merits. To do otherwise, would be detrimental to the company.

I really wish Techspot had a "dislike button", so I could voice my opinion against the constantly preachy, left wing, SJW sh!t storm being incessantly posted.

Trying to withstand the overwhelmingly judgmental tome self righteousness is sort of like asking, "what would you do if got caught in a blizzard, when snowflakes suddenly turned brown, and the winds changed to methane"?.
You'd likely be on Jupiter or Saturn, so you'd be f'd anyway.

The irony being that cranky is head of the classes he wants to dislike.
Are you trying to say, "methinks the Crankster doth protest too much"?

At least try to put a little literary, if not poetic effort into it, as you, (in violation of my civil rights), attempt to profile me. Stop and frisk is also completely out of the question as well.....

The smaller the sampling size, the less accurate statistics are expected to be. When trying to decide on which product to buy, 10 reviews with one dislike renders a 90% favorable rating. Good, yes, sampling size is still too small. Maybe it was a lucky run. Now get a 100 reviews with 10 dislikes. Still a 90% favorable rating, but at least now the product would seem to better hold it's value and is more likely the better buy.

Most don't. They learn what they can learn and move on to greener pastures. I never said it's ok to mistreat women. But women often take things more personal than is warranted and proceed to become toxic.

And here’s where the ignorance and sexism surfaces... how do you justify saying that? “Women often take things more personal”... really?!? Where’s your evidence? It’s crap like this that perpetuates unfair treatment of women...

Ignorance? Ha! More like experience. Just pointing out how women act. Some more, some less than others. Whether it's family, friends, significant other (no wonder divorce rate is so high), associates, co-workers. Sexism. What the hell does that even mean? Women just can't ever admit how different they are. If it wasn't for sex, a great many of women would find themselves alone for a reason I'm about to explain. Conversations even with women I care about are still often rife with confusion because apparently sex also affects how the brain interprets the same words. A simple conversation can blow up into an argument over interpretation alone. This happens between men and women all the time and I've even watched it happen between women. The whole idea of Gender Fluidity is dead in the water. Until men and women can actually interpret the same words and conversations the same way. LMAO.........................
If feminism can get women off of the emotional interpretation roller-coaster and men and women can interpret conversations the same way then maybe feminism can offer some benefits. At this juncture, nothing has changed and feminism has thus far descended into a nag, complaint fest. Feminism is sexism by definition. The pot calling the kettle black.

And, in a nutshell, you have shown yourself to be exactly what women (and many men) all over the world are fighting against.

Maybe try and get to know some women before painting them in such a harsh light... and divorce (and marriage), for the record, takes TWO people!

Until feminists own up to their own misandry, it'll never be an honest discussion. Women reserve the privilege to change their mind while expecting men to always honor their word. Women reserve the privilege to physically attack men while reserving the protection clause "men should never hit women". Women expect to be paid the same in the same position while producing half the output. My main point is: women are not innocent in all their ways. Could men be better? Yes and many of women's claims have merit. But women must acknowledge where they are failing as well. Misandry is no better than misogyny. That really is where the SJW culture is going wrong. Reserving privilege unto themselves while expecting others to have none. All sides have to laid down their arms if there's ever to be progress.

Danny you are going down a never ending rabbit hole like I did. Not worth it.

You're indeed correct sir. As odd as it may be. it does help to sound out my own thoughts and raked over it with critical eyes. Either my own arguments get better, and or the impurities of them are burnt out. My goal is not the fight, but understanding and resolution.
