Hello, few days ago I purchassed a L-top HP Pavilion dv6647cl with Vista Home Ultimate, and the problem is that I can establish a PPPoE connection but I cannot connect to many sites, Including Microsoft sites. Google, Yahoo, and some other sites are ok. I thought in the begining that Norton IS is maybe obstructing this and I uninstalled it. But I could not fix it after that too.
I searched many forums and in one place I found a temporary workaround. To make the internet work I had to boot up and then put the computer to sleep and then wake it up. In this way everything would work perfectly good. But the thing is that this procedure is very unconvenient to perform every time I start my L-top.
I am waiting for genius to come up with a solution!
