Unknown devices

Hi I have 2 unknow devices on my laptop that will not update I have a copy on my laptop of the diagnostics taken from the devices that don't work it says attach to paper clip ? how do I get these devices to work please any ideas would be grateful. Thank you Sharon

Copy/Paste a photo of the device(s) if you expect to be taken seriously.....

Hi its windows 10 and the devices are USB family host controller 2830 and 2834 if that's any help ?

That good info, but the 2830 & 2834 are the adaptors. Normally, we see diagnostic info only when we plug something into one of these and that's what I was referring to - - what are you attempting to access?

No idea actually lol just shows on device manager as unknown devices do I not need them then ?

Well, Actually YES, so you need the device drivers. Take the Make/Model of your computer, go to that website and under drivers or support look for the USB Drivers for Win/10
