Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? no intel Pentium E5400 ?
I have a still working e5400 pc with ecs mobo, still in working condition albeit with usual 60 centigrade cpu temp (retired). I recently found out that the stock cpu cooler was not properly attached due to only 3 holes in the ecs mobo instead of the proper 4 (no cleanup, hehehe). I used to use this pc more than 4 hours a day before I got my intel core i3-530.

those are some old dusty systems ;)
Bruce ‘Rockin Da Oldies’ stands out here with the new ssd he will fly like a rocket!!

Had to cast my vote for the man from Canada. Once all his upgrades are in he would have a very nice complete system.

Love the colour preference on blue lightning. Seems like the guy actually cares about his PC being good looking without it being RGB :D

I really wanted to vote for Francis, but... SO. MUCH. DUST. And... hair? Is that fur? Either way, if you can't be bothered to do that simple little bit of cleaning on your hardware, the money for an upgrade will probably go to waste. So... hope you win, Bruce.

I'd vote for Blue Lightning if the upgrade path was reasonable, but to stick a gaming CPU with a Z370 motherboard and high speed RAM in a rig that has a 650 Ti and 160 GB (!!) hard drive seems like a terrible upgrade to me. If this PC was all Mitchell could afford last year, I doubt that he'd upgrade to a GeForce 1060 and SSD in the near future. I Would have gone with a Ryzen 3 1200, ASRock AB350 Pro4, 8GB DDR4-2400, 1TB HDD and GeForce 1050 2GB. Might not be a terribly impressive system, and might not have a motherboard with sprinkles of blue, but at least it would be a decently well rounded low end gaming system, instead of a half mid-range half 'can't do anything with it without further upgrades' system.

Ended up voting for Rockin Da Oldies, because that upgrade complements the graphics card nicely, making the PC into a pretty well rounded gaming machine.
