Gotta say even though Bruce has a decent system with the R9 390 the upgrade path will actually make his rig good up front without anything really holding it back. Unlike many of the others it will actually be complete with the upgrades.

I think my HDD are a major issue as well. A friend gave me some WD Black drives but didn't notice any improvement from my failing 9 yr old original Barracudas.

Long story short... never built a pc before. My father passed and was left some money so after my ordeal with Alienware I opted to build this system. The original case was a Lian Li 343b I had modded but couldn't ship it cheaply, so a friend bought me this case I just brought the parts with me when I moved. Anyway... not having built a system before, I had it done in 2 days without any help. The only thing I actually messed up on... was not putting the IO shield in place and the system wouldn't boot... till I realized it need a second plug from the power supply.

I do feel bad for all these with their old processors, but I voted for the first one..because some of those $1000 processors just makes me feel as if that was a bad investment. I hope they all could win though in all honesty!

I had plans to watercool and oc, but failed at the watercooling... so I opted to not to oc and keep it stock speed. So yea, had I been able to see the future, I would have saved myself an easy $600 and gotten a Q0650 vs the QX...
