USB Wi-Fi dongle

Ok, super - - did you attempt to connect your router to the PC using an ethernet cable?
This should be your first effort to get the configuration correct.

Once connected, get a command prompt (start->run and enter CMD) and in the command window
enter IPCONFIG /ALL >myTCP.txt

Attach the myTCP.txt to your follow-up or copy the content and past it as your reply.

When you unplug the dongle, do you stop the USB device first or do you just pull it out?

POST #26 shows Av/Firewall are NOT an issue for the TCP setting and access to the internet. This is what I was after :)

From other comments, I question if the system was set to not AUTORUN or AUTOPLAY USB devices - - if so, that might interfere with driver access to the device.

I was about to comment on the link in post #23 but then saw the post#27 error in NTDLL.DLL. IMO, that error is incompatibility - - but where?

Have you been asked to run SFC / SCANNOW ? If not, please do so WITH the dongle inserted to the pc.

It fixed something, something that has nothing to do with the Dongle... The dongle still isn't working, anything else...?
