Used Dell Latitude with Windows 11

I bought a used Dell latitude 3190 with windows 11. I tried to uprade the internal ssd hdd with a new one but the w11 media creation tool says that this pc does not meet the minimum requirements for w11. I bought it from Amazon and it seems to run w11 quite well. I looked up the specs and it also says it will not upgrade to w11. It came from Amazon with w11 and like I say runs well. I wonder what gives, how can it run 11 unless they came up with one of those unautorzed hacks to make to do so and would Amazon do such a thing without letting me know.

A disk cloning program like Macrium Reflect or True Image should clone your old drive to the new drive. Neither program involves Microsoft so it should just work.

Pro Tip: Be 100% sure about the source drive (old) and the destination drive (new) during the cloning process. If you are not careful and reverse the drives, you will wipeout the old drive with the new (blank) drive.

They used flyoobe to bypass windows 11 upgrade restrictions.

Thank you so much. Do I need to be concerned legal issues since I bought It from Amazon? It seems to work really well and would there be anything to worry about as far as operating is concerned?

The only thing that will happen is if there is a modern program that requires an instruction set that the hardware does not have, that part of an application will not work. Everything else should function as intended. I have tested this on multiple Dell systems. If you have the service tag you should be able to get an install image from Dell to reinstall Win 10 then use flyoobe to upgrade to Win 11. I do this at least once a week for my actual job.

Can I clone the present contents of the hdd I have in the pc to a USB flash drive and then copy it to a new installed hdd?

I have a usb flash stick 32gb and a sd card reader with various sd cards, will either work? I also have a usb dvdrw.

I have a usb sd card reader, usb flash stick and a usb external dvdrw.
I don't think any of those will work for what you are trying to achieve.
I have a USB to NVMe and USB to SATA connectors that I use to do this.
