    The only wireless plan I'd ever be interested in is the one that's free otherwise it's prepaid all the way for me.

  4. Or you can all check out Republic Wireless and do what I did - pay for the phone ($250-300) and then $10 a month.

    Classic market segmentation. Offer the flexible (read cost saving) plan on devices only price sensitive users would buy.
    I wouldn't count on this showing up on flagship phones.

    A $100/yr prepaid card. That's what I use.
