Virus software

I know you have probably been asked this question a million times. But what is the best paid for virus program, one that does pritty much everything. I have a computer and two laptops that i want to put it on. I do not want Norton because it slows down computers. But in your experience what has been the best? That you can trust, easily updates online? etc etc... Thanks!

You need a

1. router
2. firewall
3. and a good AV (as in AVG)

add Spywareblaster to control bad ActiveX,
and add this host file to your system

I have installed spyware blaster, i have the free addition of AVG, can you suggest a router and the best firewall?
With the host file a blue screen come up saying it had been changed and to press any key, so i did and that closed. Is that fone with now? Thanks
