Weekend Open Forum: Hobbies away from the PC

Oh, forgot to mention that a few years ago, i lead my own paranormal investigation group. Would love to get back into that. Our members either moved out of town or ended up in the military. It was a sad day when we officially shut our doors :(

I love to make exciting new explosive and pyrotechnic mixtures from common household and horticultural chemical products.

Wow, loads of people doing really interesting stuff with their extra time!

I'm going to the fitness club 3 times a week, house hunting was an obligatory hobby for the past 2 months, done now, as we found a really nice house.

Apart from that: Reading, collecting retro house music, in summer rock climbing, in winter skiing

And of course, all the other time: pc gaming, ...

I do a lot of boating and fishing. I'm also rebuilding 2 outboard engines, and an old boat in my garage.

I do martial arts and I'm a bit of a health nut so I read a lot of information in regards to that sort of thing. Not really fanatical with my practices, but it's always good to know the how and why behind the only thing that lasts our whole lives :p. That I'm an information junky in general... History channel here I come!

Higher education has taken a lot of time away from me, and will more so in the future. Such a shame as I'm really looking forward to "Skyrim" when it comes out!

Electronics, hard world of wires, resistors, capacitors, catalogs...

Greetings to the TechSpot Editors from Poland

Wow, like some others have mentioned, it's cool to see the human side of people on the forum. :)

Higher education takes up a lot of my time.
I like to read; just finished the Hobbit and all three Lord of the Rings books.
Watch Starcraft 2 commentaries, Ahnaris, Husky, etc...
C programing just for fun.
A few games, SC2 demo (don't have the game yet), Battlefield 2 demo (legal bought the game, but the demo is funner, less competitiveness, more teamwork), and demos of anything interesting I find on Steam (I'm tight with my money ;) )

I do a lot of reading. Mostly fantasy books (yes paper books). Some automotive work, but thats more forces than a hobby. Just trying to get into a bit of trail motorcycle riding. Just working on getting my first bike. I have done some ridding using a friends bike, but his spare broke - like beyond repair (and it wasn't my fault I swear!) so if I want to do it anymore I need to find my own :p.

I love driving my car and occasionally going for a jog in the park. Also like to read some good fiction books.
