Weekend Open Forum: What type of character do you typically choose to play in video games?

Chaotic Good, or a Neutral character maintaining balance. I like playing more at range whether casting spells or more with a bow or ranged weapon I like being more tactical about my approaches to combat and various situations. Very occasionally I will play melee but I'm usually a dual wielder depending on how the game specifically deals with it.

If I'm playing a game like the Witcher I like to maintain his ethics or outlooks on situations according to more what was written in the books. I will say though games like the original Torment Planescape it's a bit more harder to gauge as obviously you can't really fathom being a revenant but it is what makes the game so fun.

I like melee-based characters, like zero in borderlands 2.

Wizard/sorcerer. I think spells are the most fun and creative way to dispose of enemies. Also if there`s an option I mainly play nuker instead of sniper wizard, great balls of fire all over the monitor instead of concentrated beams.

Traditionally, a bard. But, apart from that option not often being available, over time I gravitated toward warriors simply because they're easier to play, and I don't have the time to struggle with the game. I still lean towards warrior/something (mage/priest/...).

It's easier with a party. My party in The Quest is two warriors, a mage and a thief.

I play a warrior/knight if it's a games like TES or a H&S but I also like to play stealthy when it comes to Deus Ex and such kind

Always a warrior/barbarian, dont really care much about any other class.

Almost always female.
I typically run as a Lawful Neutral but occasionally Chaotic Neutral.
Usually melee focused with ranged as a second option and full tank third. Healing is off the table.
I most often go for precision over a berserker style of play.

Fighting, RPG, and others. Almost always play as a female. Since I don’t play online there’s no gender shadow issues.
Besides going back to mortal kombat and virtua fighter the women tend to be taller, smaller, and faster. Be it flying through dungeons at full speed or kicking your head in from the air... women in video games despite the gigantic ballons and skin tight butt floss tend to be the better choice for someone like me that wants speed over strength.
