Weekend Open Forum: What's the oldest part of your PC?

In 1992, I built a PC for a friend's CAD/CAM work. When I installed it, I told him to clean it out with an air gun, twice/year, making sure that he cleaned out the PSU too. Last time I was there, about 5 years ago, they were still using it. They had the Hdd upgraded several times, and replaced the CPU fan when it started groaning. Going back 40 years, in another life, we regularly got field returns from two sites. One was a coal mine, the other, a biscuit (cookie) factory. We would put them straight in a basin of warm soapy water, overnight to get rid of the coal dust and sticky sugary residue, then leave them in a warm dry place for a few days, before we would even test them. On one occasion, one of the field techs returned a replacement cage fan saying that it sucked instead of blew !

I have a still working 545MB Seagate IDE HDD complete with windows 95-OSR2 on it
and a Quantum Hard Card+ 100MB 16bit ISA HDD/controller card (still works)

and an 17" MAG flat screen CRT that does 1024x768 @100Hz

Speakers circa 1991........Compaq compact PS2 keyboard (still a reliable favourite) - now connected by active PS2 to USB converter, circa 1994.

The peripheral I was most disappointied to retire.......a 1996? Microsoft PS2 Intellimouse (Part No: 96483, C3KZB2) can't seem to get it working on 64 Bit Windows 10 (drivers??) despite a supposedly compatible addeso active PS2 to USB converter........unless anyone has any suggestions???

Of all the things to hold on to.... An intellimouse?! Just get a USB intellimouse.... You probably won't even notice the difference...
