What driver is best for my computer?

  1. My computer is as follows:

    ASUS M3A76-CM Motherboard
    Windows XP Home 2002 SP3
    2 AMD Athlon II X2 245 Processors
    2.90 GHz, 768 MB of RAM
    ATI Radeon 3000 Graphics

    Note: i might be upgrading my RAM soon.

    Secondary Question: What are the RAM types?

    Um, the various parts of your computer have their own drivers, so it's not possible to answer your question until you tell us which part you want the driver for. :)

    Second question :) There are many dram types. The most recent types are sdram, DDR DDR2 DDR3 Your computer uses DDR2 1066 Memory. 1066 is the speed DDR2 is the type. The amount of memory you can put in your computer depends on your motherboard. It looks like you can put in 4 of 2 gigabytes sticks each for a total of 8 gigabytes of memory.

    Since you are running XP and I assume the 32-bit version the maximum amount of RAM that it will utilize is 3.25 gigs. 2 gigs is enough for XP.
