Hi,

This post is related to drawing tablets.

I am about to decide between a XP-Pen Deco Fun L and a XP-Pen Deco01 V2.

Both seem to be great products.

My choice depends on functionality as well as desk space needed.

I am not sure the shortcut keys would be all that useful in tablets.

Any thoughts on that?

I had finally decided to go with a XP-Pen Deco01 V2.

However, there is a mention that a XP-Pen Deco01 V2 has SDRAM.

Isn’t that an outdated version?

Or is the implication DDR3 SDRAM?

The mention of simply SDRAM threw me off.

Here is the concerned link:

Thank you,

If you Google the word> SDRAM you will see this:

SDRAM (synchronous DRAM) is a generic name for various kinds of dynamic random access memory (DRAM) that are synchronized with the clock speed that the microprocessor is optimized for. This tends to increase the number of instructions that the processor can perform in a given time

So your assumption is correct DDR3 RAM refers to SDRAM, although we have been using DDR4 for a really long time now. This fall we will see a bigger push to DDR5 as AMD releases the AM5 socket to compete with Intel which is already supporting DDR5.
