Who do you live near?

Rotselaar

Yeah well I live in a pretty nice village (that has the worlds most stupid mayor) called Rotselaar.
What I can tell about Rotselaar:

FACT 1: It's nice here, a lot off forest to walk around, we have our own small lake too.

FACT 2: Werchter is a subvillage off Rotselaar and is the ground off the annual Rock Werchter festival, which was the first ever festival in Europe I thought.

FACT 3: Rotselaar lies not so far from Leuven, which is one off the major universatycities in Belgium. It also lies not so far from Aarschot that is like unknown, but for those who like to delve in World War history, cause the Germans executed it's entire male population somewhere during WWI.

FACT 4: Rotselaar was also the place where the Belgian Army was butchered by the Germans in WWI. We held a ceremony on that place every year, nice tradition.

I don't think many will know the place, but it's a nice place to be.

I live right in Toronto,Canada--home of the world's largest free standing erection, the CN Tower.Lots to do here and it's a great place to live but I wouldn't want to visit---try to find a place to park!

I live in Slatina, Romainia.

Would be suprised if anyone else on this board is from Romainia, would be cool tho :)

way kewl thread.

Freaks me out I live about 7 hours south west of SNGX1275. Most of the people I have met online live overseas. I was born in Kennett Missouri, yeah same place as Sheryl Crowe only im much older than she and no, i don't know her. Currently live in East Prairie, Missouri. its near I-57 which begins and I-55 runs through near by. Ever heard of Reeves Boomland? I live near that. Also Lamberts home of the Throwed Roll. yep, can you believe those are well known? me either. We also have the James Boyou Cookers, no i have no idea how to spell Buyou, Boyuo no clue. Routes 61, 62, and 63 run nearby. heck, that's enough. =)

I live in liberal little Madison, WI. I go by Detroit every once in a while, it's not as bad a greatman makes it look :)

Ooh, a thread from 2005! Let's start it up again.

I live in the New England region of the U.S., where you can see and feel four seasons in 4 days. I'm not kidding. It will snow one day, rain the next, turn to 70 degrees f, and then drop down to 30 degrees.

Is boston like that?

our climate is exactly the same here. a few days back i ran the AC and the HEat in one day. our motto is "If you don't like the weather today, wait a few minutes."

=)

Ha, one of my favorite comedians, Lewis Black even dedicated a joke about the weather here. Especially, since every once in a while we will get "snow thunder".

Hi, I live in Florida and I don't think we have but two season, Summer and HOT Summer. I think I missed the winter season when it came through for two days last year. I live near Disney and I can't understand how the tourist can take the heat. I guess when your having fun it doesn't matter.

If you've got kids, it is....as long as you plan things out smartly. Hopefully, I can afford to take them back someday before they get to old for it (though I'm not sure that's possible).

Theme parks in general

heck yeah, i was gosh really little when i went to the world, just before space mountain opened. anyway, at six flags in st louis a few years back the wait is miserable to ride the coasters, but worth the wait in my book.

Hi Everyone

Well I have lived in Orlando for over 20 years and have been to the Mouse House (Disney) a few times, but only when the weather is cooler and it's a fun place to go. If you feel down just take a trip to Disney it always makes me feel great. I made a few trips there while going through a divorce, thank you Mickey!!

Hello

Is it expensive? You could say that, the tickets have gone above $80.00. If anyone is interested in visting Disney make sure you bring a lot of cash.

Hello Nwyllie,

I am at the point that I want to leave and move back to Co. I miss the snow and would love to go go skiing again. Utah has some great skiing sites.

Hy everyone, I live in Yeagertown, Pennsylvania (middle of no where) Its nice here very rural area, not much shopping or any thing really interesting. Basicly here the sumers are hot the winters are freezing. 80's-90's in summer, -0-50's in the winter. Also we get snow thats always great.

I've enjoyed Utah, although I don't snow ski (there always seemed to me to be something silly about plumeting down a mountainside headfirst :D).

I do miss some aspects of Florida, though.

I've actually had dinner there! Quite the view from 1200 feet up and the food was awesome! I also enjoyed the visit. The people were very nice, and boy can you guys party! Went to a bar on a thursday night (it was called My Apartmant) and the place was packed! Both floors were full of very attractive ladies. Partied all night long and then had to do a presentation for work at 9 am the next day. puke:

Anyway, I live very close to St. Paul, MN. Lots of things to do around here. We have the Wild (hockey!!), Vikings (football), Twins (baseball), and Timberwolves (basketball) to keep us entertained.

I've lived and worked in Durango, Colorado. It was nice there. I've been to Miami and Orlando... Way too hot and humid! I hate humidity. I settled in Billings, Montana. People think Montana is cold. It is beautiful in the 70's from May to July and September through October. From November to April we can have snow in abundance. I grew up in Los Angeles. I was 23 before I saw snow falling from the sky... I love snow! I work from my home
