Why does my laptop screen go red after a few hours? did i loosen a wire?

If read my last post it says it all but now I've started to notice after a few hours using my laptop (sony vaio) my screen goes all red and weird first its starts up normal and then after a few hours it starts messing up I must admit I did drop my laptop (screen 1st) when a moth came into my room but it wasn't a hard drop and my screen was fine when I check it after I dropped it , it just started going red after a few hours I don't know whats happened to it did a wire loosen or something? should I take it into pc world? it is insured and what should I tell them?

How old is it? If its still under warranty, send it in.

I bought it in october 2012 so it is not that old
