Win 10 sound problem with 2 applications

Affects PowerDVD Ultra 17 and JRiver Media player 23. When I check under "Sound" in the control panel the default is to have under 'Advanced" tab Exclusive Mode checked

JRiver and all other audio work fine EXCEPT PowerDVD. To get sound for that app I must uncheck those two boxes, but then JRiver has no sound. They used to coexist, I don't know what has happened. Here are the PowerDVD audio options

If anyone has any ideas, I would greatly appreciate it. I think I've tried every combo with no luck so for now I uncheck the red circled boxes in "Sound" for PowerDVD to work and go back to default for the rest of the time. The line that is blocked by the drop down window for Speaker environment says "Output Mode", Only primary audio is the only option.

Hmmm............seems to only be a problem with certain files, perhaps time to go to the Cyberlink support.

Solved!!
under sound, "supported formats' when I unchecked dolby and checked all the boxes from 44.1 to 192 kHz now all files play
