Win32/Cryptor problem

I found this board when looking for a solution to the problem my son has with his computer.

The boy needs his computer for school and I can't figure out how to fix it. I got laid off from work last month so I have no money to spare and I am trying to figure it out by myself. I would appreciate if anyone could help me find a fix.

His computer freezes all the time; He runs AVG, so the first thing I did was to run a full scan; the system found a certain number of files that showed contamination with WIN32/CRYPTOR.

I have researched the issue for the past 3 days and tried different things but nothing worked.

Among others, I have tried Scanning in normal mode and in safe mode; I have used AVG, CCleaner, MalwareBytes, Spybot, SuperAntiSpyware. I have also run HiJackThis - attached is the log.

Tanks in advance.
