I set up a 3x500GB RAID5 volume 5 days ago, and it have been resynching since.
The computer have been restarted about 4 times since then, but it has run without reboots since Monday now. It is filled with about 400GB of files.
Why does it take so long to Resynch? It would go faster if I even did it manually....
Oh and I know I should use hardware raid instead, but since you need disks with the same size and so on, I don't want to use that.
I also tried setting up a Mirrored volume just to test, it was on 20GB and it Resynched in a pair of hours.
