Windows Update (not receiving)

My OS is Windows XP Home edition, SP2. I have not received my regular updates from Microsoft for some time now. I have set it to receive the updates, so I can choose which ones i want, rather than automatic updates. I regularly and routinely do housecleaning of my system about twice a week???

Just do one update using Windows Update, then once it installs all the normal MS addons in your system, it will update to the tray after that.

My compliments to you for choosing 'just download but don't install', then using the Custom feature to check the update and make the decision for those you want/need and for those which are appropriate for what is on your system.

I wish everyone would do this!
