Windows will not boot and keep asking for user name

My pc crashed today, i tried to boot and repair but it crashed again with a message that windows had to shut to prevent damage, i then tried to do a recovery using the f8 but at around 15% it craqshed again, i contacted a friend who said it was a ram, i changed the ram and when i tried to boot and do recovery, the system kept asking me for OTHER user and password, to cut short, nothing worked, it keeps asking it for everything even safe mode, prompt comand, anyne have any idea that might helo?:)

My first thoughts on this is that you have a problem with your hard drive, please follow this guide below. Obviously in your situation you will need another pc to create the diagnostics disc.

Identify the make of your hard drive and then use one of the links below to get the manufacturers diagnostic for ISO CD. Burn the image file to a CD, boot the PC with the disc in the drive and run the diagnostics. You first need to set the CD drive to 1st in the boot order in the Bios setup.

If you do not have an image burner use this free software to make the CD.

If the drive passes on all tests then you may be looking for a virus. As your drive will not boot you will have to remove it and connect it up to another PC, then download and update the software from below, do not have both AV's active at the same time.
